Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 24, 2026
1. Introduction
PlaceBooster ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you subscribe to our platform, use our website builders, CRM, and PWA apps, or interact with our services.
The platform is operated by Individual Entrepreneur (FOP) Dmytro Slanchenko, based in Ukraine (business address: 4 Oleny Pchilky Street, Kyiv, Ukraine), who acts as the data controller for the account and billing information of our subscribers.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us when registering, such as:
- Contact details (name, email address, phone number).
- Business details (studio name, niche/industry type, address, social links).
- Payment details (processed securely via our Merchant of Record partners).
Additionally, for client studios utilizing our booking tools, we store student profiles, attendance, classes, and schedules. This data is kept strictly isolated per tenant using Row Level Security (RLS).
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected data to:
- Provide, run, and maintain your customized studio website and member portal.
- Manage your account, billing, subscriptions, and support requests.
- Deliver automated transactional notifications (emails and push notifications).
- Ensure platform security, prevent fraud, and comply with legal requirements.
4. Data Isolation and Third-Party Services
We use Supabase (Postgres RLS) to ensure that your business and student data is securely isolated from other tenants. We do not sell or rent your data.
We utilize trusted third-party sub-processors to power key features:
- Paddle: To manage billing and Merchant of Record subscription payments.
- Resend: To deliver transactional and studio-branded emails.
- Google Places & Yelp: To pull live reviews for your dashboard.
5. Studio Data: Controller & Processor
For a studio's own end-user data (student profiles, attendance, schedules, and member contacts), the studio is the data controller and PlaceBooster acts solely as a data processor, handling that data on the studio's behalf and under its instructions. The studio is responsible for obtaining any consents required from its members and guardians.
Children's data:some studios run programs for minors. Where a studio stores information about children, it does so as the controller and is responsible for obtaining verifiable parental or guardian consent in line with applicable law (e.g., GDPR, COPPA). PlaceBooster does not knowingly collect children's data directly and processes it only as instructed by the studio.
6. Cookies and Analytics
We use cookies and basic analytics to understand platform performance and landing page conversions. We respect your browser settings regarding tracking.
7. Your Rights & Data Retention
Depending on your location (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), you have the right to access, rectify, or request the deletion of your personal data. You may request data deletion by contacting us at our support email.
